Make it with:
Ingredients
60g All Things Butter Cinnamon Bun Butter
75g All Things Butter Salted Butter
2 tbsp brown Sugar
4 tbsp Caster Sugar
2 tbsp honey
Pinch of salt
100ml double Cream
Splash of water if needed to loosen
2 thick slices of Brioche (6cm), crusts removed
Dollop of clotted cream
Method
Step 1
Mix your Cinnamon Bun Butter, brown sugar, honey and a pinch of salt together until combined into a paste then spread all over your brioche slices.
Step 2
Place the covered slices onto a tray lined with baking paper, and cook in the oven on 1800oC for 14 minutes, flipping half way through. Once golden, remove to a wire rack to cool and harden.
Step 3
Meanwhile, to make the caramel sauce, add you caster sugar to a pan over a low heat until the sugar melts and turns golden.
Step 4
Add your Salted Butter, stirring constantly until combined and bubbling. Add your cream, continuously stirring. If it splits, add a splash of hot water whilst stirring. Once combined, remove to a jar with the lid on
Step 5
Plate up the honey toast in a stack, with a dollop of clotted cream and a big drizzle of that caramel sauce. Dig in and enjoy!
