Make it with:
Ingredients
1 pack of fresh udon noodles
½ tsp sesame oil
1 egg
20g All Things Butter Salted Butter
1-2 tsp gochujang (depending on spice preference)
1 small spring onion, finely sliced
A good pinch of sesame seeds
1 tsp crispy chilli oil
Method
Step 1
Boil the egg for 6 and a half minutes, then transfer to ice water for 15 minutes before peeling the shell off.
Step 2
In fresh water, boil the udon noodles according to pack instructions, reserving a splash of the cooking water. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
Step 3
Over low heat, melt the butter in a frying pan. Stir through the gochujang with a splash of the reserved noodle water until you have a glossy sauce.
Step 4
Add the noodles to the pan and toss until coated and warmed through.
Step 5
Serve in a bowl, garnished with spring onion, sesame seeds, jammy egg, and crispy chilli oil.
