Butter Tower with Salted Butter
This butter tower will be your favourite hosting starter. It’s easy to make, delicious and such a crowd pleaser. You can use whatever herbs you have on hand - we’ve included our favourites here! Happy hosting x
Ingredients
400g Organic Salted All Things Butter, softened
2 bunches of parsley
4 sprigs of thyme
2 garlic cloves
Handful of daisies
S & P to taste
Our favourite pairings
Thyme + parsley + garlic
Rosemary + mint
Basil + oregano
Thyme + rosemary
Tarragon + parsley
Sage + thyme
Rosemary + garlic
Lavender + mint (use sparingly)
Method
Step 1
Leave the butter at room temperature until it’s soft enough to stir easily. Finely chop the parsley and thyme and mince garlic very finely.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, herbs, garlic. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Step 3
Scoop up the herby butter into a serving dish. We’d recommend using a smaller one to create a “pilled on” effect. You should aim to create a mound-like shape. Be sure to create a good foundation by spreading butter across the surface area of the dish.
Step 4
Before setting in the fridge, carefully remove any access leaves from the flowers/herbs you are using to decorate and stick into the butter.
Step 5
Place in fridge. Keep chilled until 15 minutes before serving.
Step 6
Display at the centre of your table with your favourite crusty bread or crackers. Please note - the flowers you use may not be edible so do not eat. Enjoy!
