800-900g chicken wings or drumsticks
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp white or black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp oil
For the Honey Chilli Butter Sauce :
2 Tbsp All Things Butter Chilli Butter
4 Tbsp Honey
Sprinkle of chopped coriander
Squeeze of lemon
Chopped chives/coriander and toasted sesame seeds to finish
Method
Step 1
Coat the chicken well in the marinade. Air fry at 200ºC for 25 minutes and turn over after 15 minutes. DO NOT crowd the tray. Otherwise they just end up being a sweaty mess! (Cook in batches if you can)
Step 2
To make the sauce, melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat, add the honey, reduce for a few minutes until the consistency is slightly thicker, stirring as you go.
Step 3
Add chopped coriander and a squeeze of lemon to the sauce and stir.
Step 4
Pour the sauce over the cooked wings and coat thoroughly until all the wings have a nice blanket of sauce. Serve on a big dish and sprinkle over some chopped chives and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
