Make it with:

Ingredients
2 slices of thick bread (brioche or challah is best)
1 medium egg
30g All Things Butter Chocolate Butter
60ml whole milk (or double cream for extra richness)
½ tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Method
Step 1
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vanilla extract, salt, and sugar (if using).
Step 2
Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not overly soaked.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the Chocolate Butter. Let it melt and coat the pan.
Step 4
Place the soaked bread slices into the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
Step 5
Plate up the French toast and add your favourite toppings—icing sugar, golden syrup, fresh fruit, or our favourite... extra Chocolate Butter!
